Evidensia Specialist Animal Hospital Helsingborg is one of Sweden's oldest animal hospitals for small animals and serves as a referral center for a large number of clinics and animal hospitals. Our emergency reception is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

About the job: As the department responsible nurse, you will be responsible for one of our six departments. We are currently looking for a department manager for the ICU/emergency and surgical department. You will be part of the hospital's management team and report to the hospital manager. Your department consists of about 15 veterinary nurses and animal caregivers. You have the support of a dedicated hospital management, scheduling team, HR, chief veterinarian, deputy hospital manager, and hospital manager. To become the best leader, we believe in close leadership. Therefore, you will also work clinically at the hospital combined with your managerial role.

The assignment includes a development plan for your department and your employees. You are part of the hospital's management team with employer responsibility. You have personnel responsibility and are responsible for the equipment and purchases related to the department.

Who are we looking for? You are a driven and engaged nurse with a genuine interest in further development within veterinary care and want to grow as a manager. We believe you have several years of clinical experience. You are interested in people and want to motivate, inspire, and coach your surroundings. You are communicative and have a good ability to build trust with employees at different levels. You are customer-oriented and easily understand and meet different individuals' perspectives. You enjoy finding solutions and are curious about new ideas while acting fairly and with integrity in decisions. Experience in personnel responsibility is an advantage.

Qualifications:

Ready to take on managerial responsibilities including personnel, budget, and work environment responsibilities.

Licensed veterinary nurse or animal caregiver level 3

Ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

Location: Helsingborg

Scope: Full-time or part-time
